Today`s anime is Shijō Saikyō no Deshi: Kenichi (History’s Strongest Disciple Kenichi),a entertaining show with the perfect balance of action to keep you interested and comedy to keep you laughing.
The story is about a boy named Shirahama Kenichi who`s often bullied due to his soft nature and weak build, thus earning him the nickname “Weak legs”. He decides to do something about it, and in order to become stronger, he joins the school karate dojo.He end up bullied there too and gets challenged to a duel that, whoever loses, will have to quit the dojo. Kenichi accepts, and is troubled about it, then he stumbles upon a blonde girl(Furinji Miu) interfering in local yakuza bullying an old man, Kenichi fearing the girl will lose her life, rushes to her aid without thinking, only to realize he was going to die. It was during this time the girl saves him with her amazing skills,and after hearing his story, introduces him to her dojo:Ryouzanpaku.After intense training, and with Miu`s help, he ends up winning the duel, but he doesn’t realize the world he’s just fallen into, a world filled with strong characters and obstacles Kenichi has to overcome.
